Forget-me-not {dernierefleur}
And that was it. His medication had finally ran out last week. Without his medication, his body would begin hurt again—and it was. The fine mist of blood from his lips tainted the air in front of his face. He was getting so progressively worse. The wounds from being shot all those years ago had left the mercenary with terrible complications…and though he had healed on the outside, he should never have been alive. Zack had gotten to the point where he could not bend because of the pain. He knew he was at the end of his rope—and now there was only one place he wanted to go and one thing left that he wanted in his hands before he died.
Zack had to visit the church one last time. And he wanted to die with the Buster Sword.
Outside of the church, air pricked at his throat. With a staggering cough, Zack’s eyes widened as he looked at the shine of crimson in the palm of his hand. Gently he lowered himself to the ground outside of the church with a soft breath. It was only a few feet. He could at least try to make it. Closing his eyes, Zack’s body dipped lower to the ground until he slumped into the warm dirt. Long black hair fell over his shoulders, concealing his face.
He waited until the pain in his chest subsided—cautiously running his tongue in his mouth to check to see if the blood had stopped flowing. When it had—and it slipped into a dull ache that Zack really didn’t feel at all, he stood up. Pushing his hair from his face, Zack’s dazed eyes locked onto the door of her church. Stepping sluggishly forward, he pushed his hands into the doors and stopped upon seeing a young woman kneeling inside.
His heart skipped a beat, voice breaking composure as he stood wide-eyed in the doorway. “Aer…ith?”
❖
Had he ever kissed Aerith? Maybe once on the cheek—but never on the lips. It was sort of a forbidden zone, he thought. Zack figured that she’d been so innocent that he’d be taking something important from her by giving her a kiss.
But right now, that didn’t matter. Despite the fact that he was dusty and beaten, bruised and a little messed up in the head he found her exactly where he had hoped she’d be.
"Aerith!" he shouted at the flower girl in disbelief, scooping the brunette up with ready arms.
He’d missed her so much it hurt.
And his understanding of boundaries shattered the moment he held her. The mercenary kissed her cheeks, eyes, and finally decided to press his mouth to her lips.

Such a pretty young lady she was-- just walking down the street all by herself. Was she looking for someone? Vanitas knew better than to stare at people just because they appeared interesting, but she had an air all her own. The only problem he had with her was the fact that she was headed right toward an ally that had been known to hold troublesome people within.. Quickly making his way toward her, he tried catching her attention with a slight cough and a charming grin. "Not the best place to visit, for a girl like you," he advised, walking past the eerie-feeling slit in the walls between buildings while hoping she would soon follow. "Name's Vanitas. May I ask yours?"

Send a ♚. Your character falls asleep on mine, I'll reply with what mine does.
— { ℜ } Reno looked down at his lap, where the young woman had fallen asleep, and frowned in confusion. His hand rested lightly against her shoulder, and he slid it away. Very carefully, he moved out from underneath her, replacing the place where he sat with a pillow. The redhead retrieved a blanket from the closet and draped it over her, watching her sleeping form on the couch.
( If you’d been seen like that,
everyone would have assumed the wrong thing.
Best to just let her sleep. )
In a nonchalant manner... I am throwing my url in here.
My first impression on the Url or their character:
The url I had immediately assumed was latin, and thus I hadn’t a clue at all what it meant other than a reference to flowers I was sure haha.
Do I Rp with them?:
I don’t believe we do?
Do I want to Rp with them?:
Well yes, if you’re interested of course :D
Do I ever have any gifwars or talk to them?:
We do not speak very often, but we have spoken before!
My opinion on their character:
When I said Cloud was a complicated character, I was being honest. All final fantasy vii characters have depth to them. Each of the main gang was able to get a full story all to themselves, showing the complexity of their plot and their character as a whole. But the truth is, Aerith is the most complicated of them all to me. No matter how you show it, there is no real proof that she ever showed a single ounce of true feelings in her journey. The woman lived a tragic life from the beginning, understood fully what happened to both of her parents, and had a mysterious connection with the planet that no one could explain to her. She had to figure things out for herself, all while avoiding ShinRa and loving her adopted mother. Having her first love disappear on her only to have that terrible power give proper understanding that he died, and then after a journey of finally escaping Midgar to die because of bloodline and destiny that she showed in small hints she did not fully want to participate in. I don’t think Aerith believed she would die at all. And her whole story arc was in dealing with being the last Cetra, written in a way that made one believe she was to overcome her questions in autonomy and face what she could… Except her life was taken from her. She put a smile on her face as the difficulties and stress grew, but still managed to do things in her own special way. Having Cloud dress up as a woman, huffing and pouting and telling him she’s not the girl to be protected, while at the same time still having fun with the people she met… She had a lot of personality and at the same time never was given the opportunity to fully unveil who she really was. I have a lot of Aerith feelings omg apologies ahdjkfg
Overall statement:
I say please go follow her, a very good Aerith yes :D
