your blog has made me realize how much I need a little marimo pet! (my brother is obsessed now too) We are going on a hunt to find some today, but I was wondering if you knew where too buy them? I've heard petsmart has them but I'm unsure if ALL petsmarts have real ones or only select stores? and if you know of any other big name pet stores that have them? (:

PetSmarts have then in their aquarium section, right next to the bettas! They're in the little plastic containers. The PetCo that I have near where I live does not have them, but maybe one near you does. A store that sells aquatic things like fish should sell marimo as well. They tend to decorate their tanks with them.

1. what is your favorite holiday in acnl?

hmmmm. I really like the fireworks nights we had at the end of summer. If that counts lol.

2. do you use the rooms in the museum if so is it a display or storage?

I use them! I am trying to complete my collection of gyroids, so I have them up there separated into the four rooms by name! 

3. do you like the tent or igloo better for the campsite?

aaaah. Igloo for sure. It’s so adorable at night!

4. whats your favorite weather in acnl?

Heavy thunderstorms! All the villagers come out in their little umbrellas and it’s adorable except freaking Jacques omg

5. have you ever reset or thought about resetting your town yet?

I have reset from my first town. Cypress is my second town, my first one was Mt. Moon, and I had it from the release until like early September. Then I saw someone elses dream town and really hated my map for a while and reset. But it’s still got a special place in my heart! I loved my villagers and their house placements. I’d love to have a second copy that I could just play like I did the first time but I’d never have time to play it and I don’t have a job lol.

6. are you a time traveler?

On and off. I’m not right now though, cause I finally got all my dream villagers for Cypress and I’m playing around with turnips.

7. do you try to get dream villagers?

I normally don’t (I’ve played every US released version of animal crossing) but this town (Cypress) I did. I visited a town that was themed with all lions and I though, oh what if I do that with my villagers? That’d be cool. SO I did. lol.

8. if you were a villager which one would you be?

hmmmm. That’s hard. I would definitely be one of the avians, probably a duck or an eagle. That’s what I would want to be anyway. If I had to say “this villager is a lot like me” then it would have to be Bangle. But, it’s hard to just pick one personality, ya know? =)

9. do you ever use the dream suite?

Yes! I don’t visit people much, just because I always get really aggravated that I can’t just press a button to end the dream, that you have to go all the way back to the bed. I have my town published but its super wip, so if you can find it by all means check out how cool it could be one day haha. When I finally have it to a point that I think it looks good, I’ll probably do a cute little photo set and post my dream address.

10. do any of your  friends in real life who play acnl?

Yes, I actually just convinced my boyfriend to play with me! And he got a tumblr too ;)

11. what is your town tune?

1. How did you discover Animal Crossing?  Oh god it's been so long ago I have no idea. I started with the first AC game so probably my dad picked it out when he read about the game in an issue of Nintendo Power (probably). My dad's a gamer as well. He started with the NES games and all that.

2. What is your favorite feature added to New Leaf?  I looooove the Mayor stuff. PWPs especially. OH and the sharing designs via QR codes has totally been amazing.

3. What event would you like to see added in the future? lol I read that incorrectly at first so this is a revision. I would like to see more stuff with Valentine's Day I guess. I know we can send letters to villagers but if you could exchange Valentines in person and collect cards from everyone omg it'd be adorable. Maybe more chocolate could be involved too, like a Valentine's Day furniture series?

4. What is your dream address?  5100-3386-7707. I've been improving Lavender soooo much since that dream. Once I get a few more items in, like the metal bench and getting the tower paid off, I'll make a super cute dream later this spring. It'll be closer to my "perfect" vision for my town.

5. Would you play an Animal Crossing MMO if there was one?  That would be fun! The only sucky thing is we would have less control over how our town looks maybe. Something would have to be done so hybrids aren't constantly destroyed and someone will have to determine where PWPs go. Animals' homes will look disastrous if too many people push furniture on them.

6. How often did you play New Leaf when you first got the game? How often do you play it now?  I played it so much more than I do now. I still upkeep my town daily but I would do it for many hours during the summer. Not being in school at the time played a big part though.

7. Do you have a favorite villager who no one else seems to like? If so, who are they?  For whatever reason people don't like Croque? He's a cute cranky little French frog who's into Japanese stuff. His house is rad.

8. What was your most memorable experience either wifi-ing with another player, or on Club Tortimer?  I love playing with Megan, Tom (bro), and Michael. It's chaos.

9. Who do you think the mayor of the town was supposed to be? I like how mysterious they leave it, haha. Maybe Rover has been avoiding his mayoral responsibilities this whole time?

10. Do you have any favorite dream towns? Omg I've only ever really visited Alicorn in the winter. It was sooo cute. I have a list of towns to visit but my college's wifi isn't compatible with my 3DS. :/

11. How long do you plan to play ACNL?  Hopefully until the next AC game come out. I'm guessing the new one will be wiiu. In that case I may still continue ACNL since I can't take that town with me everywhere.

1. If you were impeached as mayor, what would be the reason? I had to google the word impeached... Hmmm... Probably villager favouritism. That or forcing/ pushing villagers into buying items in ReTail.

2. There’s a new rule in town! What would it be and what is the reason for adding this? I pick what you wear, no questions asked! I'm so sick of villagers making other villagers wear random crap.

3. It’s a zombie apocalypse! Quick, assemble your team! Out of your villagers, who would be: the team leader, the brawler, the weapons expert, the brains, the medic, the speed fighter, and  the mascot? Who would die first? (Sacrifices must be made!) Oh God, I'm thinking about this wayy to seriously haha. Team Leader: Kid Cat - Coz he badass yo. Brawler - Marshal, he doesn't take no crap from anybody. Weapons Expert - Stitches, I'd like to think all his patches and missing eyes came from weapon-involved accidents. The Brains - Julian, he's wearing a suit at the moment. That's the only reason why haha. The Medic - Fuchsia, she already gives me medicine anyway :) The Speed Fighter - Ankha, she looks fierce and agile. Mascot - Zucker, he my boy Die First - Definitely Erik, he just looks sick and slow all the time. That's why I love him!

4. You’re sick! Which three villagers would be by your side, nursing you back to health? Who brings the medicine every day? I'd like to say Fuchsia, because she actually does give me medicine, but I don't think she'll visit me in my bed when I'm sick.... The 3 villagers at my birthday party were Zucker, Kid Cat and Lucky, so I guess they'll help me when I'm sick.

5. Do you have an AC OTP/Brotp/Notp? Who and why? Yes! Ankha and Lucky! They live near each other and they're both Egyptian themed villagers and I like to think Lucky is a really poor street urchin hoping to win the hand of Princess Ankha. I may have been watching Aladdin while playing... 6. If there was one thing you could change about ACNL, what would it be? (Things like more villagers, tool belts, residential district for shop keepers. The sky’s the limit!) Definitely more villagers. Don't we all? Or maybe making the golden shovel able to move rocks. 7. If Isabelle suddenly ran off, how screwed would your town be? Meh, I think we'd be aiight. I'm a damn good mayor. 8. What’s the thing you do the most in your town? (Bug farming, path laying, flower breeding etc.) Ping resetting haha 9. What’s your ideal town like? A town that's aesthetically pleasing and somewhat symmetrical. 10. What kind/color of system do you play on? I use to have that blue/green 3DS that first launched, but I ended up giving it to my brother (which he doesn't use anymore anyway) so now I play on my white 3DS XL. 11.
