I need advice please! Yesterday my boyfriend questioned if I really wanted/was ready to be in a relationship with. (We've been together a month and I really do wanna keep it going.) but I'm so awkward when kissing and I kind of freeze up. Last night he blurted 'I love you' but I thibk[/hope] it was accidental? More importantly i think I think I should tell him I'm ace, but given recent events, I'm scared he might think I've been leading him on/using him. [1/?]

[2/?] I also have nonverbal learning disabilities which makes expressing myself very difficult, so for example when he compliments me and such I'm basically just like 'thank you!' and don't know what else to say. I tend to forget that people aren't just going pick up on what I'm thinking/feeling unless I actually say something, but the nvld makes it so difficult to remember/consider other people and how my actions affect them. [3/?] I'm seeing him later today so I think nows a good time to explain myself and why I seem/can be so distant. I really do care about him and want to continue our relationship, and he's really sweet and gets that certain things make me uncomfortable. But based on past experience, I'm afraid me coming out (is that the right term?) might change everything in a bad way

I understand that you're afraid of coming out, Anon. And you're right- it might change everything. In a bad way? In a good way? You don't know yet. But it sounds like this is something that you need to tell him, since you say certain things have been making you uncomfortable. If you're uncomfortable with anything in your relationship, that's something you need to talk about with your partner. Even if it's difficult.

What's your best method of communication? If writing is easier for you, maybe you could write your boyfriend a letter about how you feel! Let him know how much you value him and value the relationship and that this information is important and needs to be said. Use "I" statements to let him know how you feel.
