Aredhel jabbed a stick into the beast’s side. It was a wild goat, she was pretty sure of it. Separated from its flock, it had likely succumbed to a predator. It was very bloated, though, and stiff. The pelt would be no good. But it was disgusting, and that fascinated her just a bit. “It is,” Aré agreed, poking it again and peering at it. “I wonder where the rest of the goats are. Maybe tomorrow I should go looking for them!”
