Last of my desert goblins, resin cast from Etsy producer McGavin Miniatures. Their full name is the Black Horde Goblins Desert Warriors from Beholder Miniatures.

But I didn't want to paint mine black, or even khaki for the desert, I decided to do these in blues and yellows in honor of my extremely color blind older brother who throughout his life tried to paint all of his miniatures in blues and yellows, in honor of the Marine corps, but often chose shades that did not work well together.

This is actually part of the goblin Turtle Fleet project, no really! I was trying to find the right sort of blue for the Goblin uniforms, in my desert garb research I found some pictures of bedouins in a really interesting blue color and I was trying to replicate that color for the Goblin clothing. Before I start slapping it on a lot of little models I wanted to see what it looked like so I tried it out on the Skeleton on the right. It looks mostly right, a little bright, but it's always easier to make things darker than it is to make them lighter. The pile of bones is there because it just needed a little bit of highlighting and it needed it's base finished.
