ivana and i have been roadtripping from colorado to california for a wedding and planned our route to be doing camping in a double sleeping bag (no tent) on BLM land and state park campsites (much cheaper than motel) and it has been AMAZING. i love desert, best ecosystem in the world. the blm site in utah we stayed in especially (san rafael swinging bridge) is like a million miles from other people so you can hang out topless in bed* and has the grungliest honor system payment setup ever. also in another part of utah, salt flats:
