shoto crushing on a very cheerful and hyper reader??🙏🙏🙏

HELLOOOO!!!! I know it’s been like a year since I’ve posted and I'm so sorry for taking so long to! I just got a computer so hopefully I will be able to write more and faster with a keyboard! HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS!!!

- If we’re being honest, Shoto probably thought you were a bit annoying when he first met you at the start of the school year and didn’t pay you much attention at all. (He was just pretty focused on strengthening his ice side and surpassing his father without the use of his flames).

-Shoto begins to notice you a lot more after the sports festival. He likes the way your smile lights up the room and how contagious your laugh is. (Btw he is fully unaware that he has a crush for the LONGEST time, and most people figured it out before him LOL)

-His friends start to notice how different he is towards you, and one day Izuku points out that Shoto tends to smile more when you’re in the room. Once he realizes he DOES have a crush on you, his entire demeanor shifts completely.

-Many people perceive Shoto as serious and nonchalant, but he really is more awkward than anything, which leads to an interesting dynamic between you two.

-He definitely has a staring problem.

-You probably have to initiate most of the conversations because he is completely okay with just admiring you from afar. As you become friends, Shoto’s awkwardness lessens slightly, and he begins to open up to you a lot more.

-You two like to go out as “friends” for cold soba on weekends, and when you get back both you and Shoto’s friends tease you guys about it.

-Shoto likes to do most things with you, but one of his favorites is studying with you. He will help you with difficult material and you guys get some stuff done, but study sessions usually end because you got off track talking and he preferred to listen to your sweet voice than study.

-Sometimes you’ll be talking to some classmates and messing around and he will just come up to you and stand by you because he wants to be in your vicinity.

-It gets to a point where most of the class thinks you’re dating, and when being questioned about it he may not answer, but he does not deny his feelings.

-He genuinely just likes to be around you, and your cheerful manner always manages to brighten up his days so much that he can’t help but be in love with you!!

shoto coming home from patrol during a heatwave to find you laying like a corpse infront of the ac unit

he stands above you for a moment before asking whats wrong as if its not obvious

your wearing very little clothes which are actively sticking to you and your hair sticks to your forehead so you're only response is a groan and you gesture to the ac unit

"is it broken?" he turns towards it.

"it doesn't seem broken.." He hums lowly as he kneels down to inspect it.

you roll your eyes,

"No, its hot as hell." you scoot closer to it.

he doesn't say anything but you can tell he understands your struggle now, wordlessly, he brings his right hand to your forehead and you immediately sigh in relief.

his hand is freezing cold, you're hot all over, you lean into him more, you sit like that for a few minutes before he pulls away, you whine and follow, dropping your head on his shoulder.

shoto removes his jacket, tossing it to the side and pulling you close again, hes in just a tank top, which gives you more access to his skin, he manhandles you into a better position, laying you on his chest while sitting infront of the ac.

"thank you.." You mumble quietly, giving his collarbone a soft peck.

he hums in response and bring his right hand up to run through your hair, instantly chilling your scalp.

he figures its gonna be a calm lazy night so he decides to order take out, he even grabbed some pillows to make it more comfortable so you can camp out in front of the ac until it was time for bed.

he didn't get much sleep that night, you were on top of him the entire night but he was happy to be your life sized ice cube anyways.

He brings you a sunflower.

"It was smiling at me, so I thought you should have it." His grin is easy as he hands it over, all lazy charm and sharp edges that soften when you take it. The petals are a vibrant, impossible yellow, the color of laughter, and it towers over the simple glass of water you find for it. You don't tell him you think of him when you see sunflowers, how they turn their faces to the light, relentless and bright. You just press your thumb to the velvet of a petal and watch him watch you. He's all golden retriever energy with the piercing gaze of a hawk, a paradox you've come to cherish. The flower follows the sun from your window, and you think, so do I.

*Bakugou*

He shoves a bouquet at your chest.

"It's not a big deal." The words are a growled warning. "They were in the way." The cellophane crinkles violently, a protest against the force of the gesture. It's a chaotic explosion of red carnations and sprays of baby's breath, thorns pricking your fingers even through the wrapper. You don't point out that he had to go into a shop, that he had to choose, that he had to stand there and pay. You just thank him, quiet and sincere, and watch the tips of his ears turn the same shade as the flowers. He later grumbles about their stupid meaning—"fascination," "my heart aches for you"—like he's allergic to the very concept, but he never looks away when you arrange them in a vase.

*Shoto*

He brings you a single, perfect snowdrop.

"I saw it." The explanation is typically sparse, but the gesture is not. It's nestled in his palm, delicate and bell-shaped, a tiny white tear-drop of a flower shivering slightly. He found it pushing through a late frost, a stubborn bit of life in a world still dormant. There's no grand statement, no booming declaration. Just the quiet certainty of a boy who understands cold, offering you a symbol of resilience and hope. You press it between the pages of your favorite book to preserve it, a memory of winter's end and the gentle warmth that follows. He watches you do it, and for the first time, you think he understands what it is to hold onto something.

*Kirishima*

He presents them with a booming laugh and a blinding grin.

"They're badass, right?!" It's a fistful of stargazer lilies, blushing pink and spotted with freckles of darker crimson. They're bold and unapologetic, just like him, and their scent fills the entire room, a sweet and spicy perfume. He's practically vibrating with excitement, waiting for your approval. He probably picked them himself, charging through the flower fields with all the subtlety of a landslide. You bury your face in the petals and inhale deeply, and when you look up, his smile is so wide and genuine it could crack the earth. He doesn't know about their meaning—"purity," "aspiration"—only that they're tough and they look cool. For you, that's more than enough.

*Dabi*

He tosses a wilting black rose on your table.

It lands with a soft, sad thud. The petals are bruised, the edges curling into a deep, dark purple, like a dying flame. There's no water, no vase, no explanation. Just the flower and the lingering scent of something burnt and sterile. He watches you from the doorway, a sliver of shadow and blue light, his expression unreadable. It's a challenge, a test, a morbid joke. You pick it up, and the stem is cool between your fingers. You don't throw it away. You place it in a small, dark bottle where the light can't quite reach it, a secret, beautiful decay.

಄ shoto todoroki buys two of everything

You were tidying up your dorm, shoto was coming over to study with you and then of course, spend the night.

Both of you were always in one or the others dorm, it was just routine at this point. and today it happened to be your dorm.

While you were cleaning off your desk and making your bed, shoto was making a convenience store run to get some some 'studying fuel' as you called it.

He didn't necessarily need this 'studying fuel' but he wouldn't mind eating with you before studying, it's just more time spent together. that'll deepen your bond right?

Yet every time shoto goes to the store, he's met with a dilemma.

"I should get some milk...I saw where it helps you think better.." he mumbles to himself before going to the coolers, he stops as he goes to open it.

The flavors, Plain, Strawberry, Chocolate. "She likes strawberry milk.." and he grabs it, but before he can close the door he's looking at the chocolate milk. "but...what if she wants chocolate today....?"

And so to solve his problem, he buys both the strawberry and the chocolate milk.

Then he's going to grab the snacks, the first thing he automatically gets is strawberry mochi. It's the one thing you've constantly gotten almost every time you've gone to the convenience store.

But as he's about to walk to checkout, he sees another strawberry snack out the corner of his eye. 'Strawberry Cheesecake Mochi'.

Now he's staring at it as if its asked him the most difficult question ever. "Should I get it...? Would she want it...? Of course she would want it, she loves strawberry things.." and so he grabs it. Heading to the counter with two milks, two mochis, his water, and his onigiri.

But wait- what if you want onigiri too?? what if you wanted something savory??

So he ends up going to the counter with two onigiri, one for you, one for him, two mochi, and two milk.

Back at your dorm you hear his signature knock and you smile and go to the door, opening it quickly. "You made it! I thought you got lost, you took a bit longer than usual!" you say walking away from the door as he comes in, closing it behind him.

You go to the desk and pull out his chair and sit in yours. He sets the bag down, knowing that you both would be eating before studying.

"Okay lets see..." you start going through the bag, you stop briefly when you take out two milks, two mochis, two onigiris and a water

"Oh? You got some mochi and milk too??" you smile at him.

"They're both for you... and this onigiri." he takes it out and sits it beside your stuff. "I wasn't sure which milk flavor you'd want....same for the mochi....and I didn't know if you'd want onigiri so I got you one too"

Your eyes widen, all of this for you?? "Sho- this is so much- Are you trying to get me fat?!" you can't help but laugh

His eyes widen even further "W-what?! No! That's not it at all!"

"I'm kidding Sho, I'm just saying I didn't expect all of this. I would've been fine with whatever you got me, I promise" you kiss his cheek.

His eyebrows furrow a little at the kiss you leave on his cheek, and even more at the way you act like you should just be okay with less than what he can give you.

"I don't want you to just be fine..." he admits quietly. "If I can give you something better....why wouldn't I?" he says, then gives you a prompt kiss on the lips.

"Okay but you've gotta help me finish this all, deal okay?"

"Okay, deal." he says after a moment. "Just don't push yourself. I don't want you to feel sick because of me. If it's too much, you don't have to finish it."
