The Abandoned Outdoor Movie Theater of the Sinai Desert

Going through my archives this week I came across one of my first spreads in the @thestmagazine from 1999. #DesertBlast was a gathering of pyro-enthusiasts (sic: maniacs) in the Nevada Desert who, in their own words, like "blowing shit up"! It was quite an extraordinary story and I can't thank @aidanj56 enough for giving a punt on this 25-year-old green photographer. My contributor photo even features yours truly in a fetching fishing jacket!? #simonroberts #dmbrepresents #ianparryaward
