I spent like, days deciding the name of my island. I ended up picking Drifter’s! So it’s Drifter’s Museum, Drifter’s Town Hall, Drifter’s Tailor Shop... Sounds rlly nice and I’m super happy with it.

Do you have a favorite memory of after you fell? Like, yknow. A good one?

I can remember one of the first times I realized what a beautiful world this was, sitting in a cave taking shelter from a storm. The lightning kept me grounded but I remember sitting in the mouth, careful to avoid the freezing drops of water dripping from its maw, watching the trees shake and shudder beneath the chaos of the rain. The way their limbs stretched and ached before me reminded me of my own wings.

Though distant rumble was nothing like the music of heaven, and the chatter of water upon the leaves nothing like the voices of my siblings, but it was exactly what I needed in that fragile moment; to be reminded I was still a powerful being surrounded by powerful things.
