tbh I kinda hate that test, like the way the answers are. some of them don't apply or make sense. "Are you surprised when people tell you you've been rude", no matter what you answer it implies people actually do tell you you've been rude, I tried to carry on with the test but many of the questions all the answers are incorrect for me.
Do you know if this test is still widely used? It seems really difficult for me to understand. A lot of the phrasing is super clunky. I think the ones with a five scale were all ones I took
yeah i think theyre confusingly worded on some parts, however thats kind of how in my experience a lot of tests are its like an 'aha gotcha' of comprehension that because of how it's worded people of similar mentalities are typically inclined to answer a specific way. its also like how tests for work will try and 'weed out' people who seem "less than stellar team players"
It's kind of more for people who already are suspecting to inclined to know theyre autistic than for people who are genuinely surprised to learn theyre autistic, as its a test for wide use it can really slip through for more specific person by person cases
It tells you this isn't necessarily a end all be all of autism tests and if you genuinely want a more 'accurate' testing go to a professional, and even then some professionals are quite biased on what 'looks' like autism on people vs behaviors as well
This test is for a quick, curious glance over for yourself and the potential of if you're autistic
