Silque’s probably one of the few people who actually takes him seriously, and so she plays an instrumental part in the formation of Jesse’s new kingdom after the war. Even though she lived a nomadic lifestyle, she often went to visit Jesse, and he’d drop whatever plans he had to see her.

✦ - What do you think would be our muses’ favorite activity together?

I feel like Silque would just be content to sit and listen to Jesse’s stories. Not because she’ll laugh at his various misfortunes no way

I don’t frequent valentiangst for nothing.

So one of my bad-ending!HCs related to Silque and Sonya’s endings (rumors are that Sonya became a witch, while nobody really knows where Silque went) is that the two ended up traveling around Rigel together after coincidentally meeting up, Sonya searching for a cure for witches while Silque is healing the wounded. However, Sonya starts losing control of her own magic, and Silque, realizing this, sends Jesse one last letter giving the gist of the situation and apologizing for being unable to see him anymore. The second that Jesse gets the letter, he rushes to Fear Mountain, but finds no trace of either of them; neither Silque nor Sonya are ever seen again.

When she saw the familiar curly blonde hair and exposed chest across the room, where most of Sister Celica’s party stood, Silque didn’t believe her eyes. The second that they made eye contact, and he opened his mouth, she did. Silque hadn’t seen the mercenary for some months, and this was the greeting that she received. Right before they were going to fight Duma, no less! The looks on the other girls in Sister Celica’s party gave him suggested that he pulled the same kind of talk on them, too, which she wasn’t at all surprised by.

She closed the gap so that they were standing face-to-face, trying to muster a glare for his flirting attempt but finding that she couldn’t help but smile at the familiar face.

“‘Silque’ will do just fine, Jesse. And what brings you here?”

Why, oh why, was the mercenary’s lips on his ear? Why?The solider froze at the contact, not knowing what to do and why it was happening?He just stared at the blond guy, mouth opening and closing just as quickly, for a moment, but long enough for the other to pull away and running away with a loud noise and a salute.

...what just happened will probably stay a mystery to the soldier.
