Awkward silence.

♕ || Despite all that has happened and since it has long since become public knowledge, Ciel actually has little issue talking about the manor fire itself (his subsequent month-long disappearance not included in this), about his parent's death. Since Ciel has only allowed himself to be emotional once about the loss of his parents, nowadays he is very no-nonsense and to the point when discussing the topic if he must. He has no problem speaking about it, but he does not want the conversation to last particularly long on it.

♕ || Though the Phantomhive manor houses several shotguns, pistols, and handguns, there is one pistol in particular that Ciel will take with him for use during a mission. It belonged to his father, and was owned originally by his grandfather, one of the few things that Tanaka had stored away at Vincent's request to be given to his son at a later time (planned before the manor fire). Ciel is sure to have Sebastian clean this gun and keep it in very good shape to ensure its working condition for as long as possible.
IAurora, Boo, Peter Pan (all IC)
Aurora: Story of your first kiss
It was Elizabeth. We couldn't have been more than six or seven years old, so of course the propriety of the situation went over our heads. We were playing out in the gardens and she picked a few flowers and made me kiss them, then she kissed me. This is embarrassing just thinking about it.
Boo: A childhood hero.
My predecessor. He is someone I very much looked up to as a child.
Peter Pan: Something from your childhood that you still love.
Chocolate covered strawberries. My mother loved those as a snack, so naturally I had quite a few of hers myself.
When you were a tiny little tot, what did you imagine your life would be like? What did you want it like? Do you think that you could ever achieve that now?
I can honestly say I don't remember too much of what my life was like when I was quite young, the human memory can only span so far after all. I've known for as long as I can remember that I'd take over as the head of the household for my predecessor, but I wasn't made aware of what the title of Phantomhive truly meant until I was older, probably around a year before my parents passing. I always knew what my life would entail, but did I imagine it would turn out like it had? Not at all.
As for what I wanted it like, when I was younger I wanted the rather childish impression of what my life would be like. Having Elizabeth as a wife, a child or two once we were married, carrying out my duties as a nobleman.
Achieving it now? When I'm slated to die far before the normal life expectancy I had? Certainly not, such a thing is unattainable now, nor do I want it. I want my revenge, then I want Sebastian devouring my soul as he's supposed to, end of story.
My dearest darling, happy Valentine's. I love you very much.
{ ღ } "Why thank you, my love."
