Fake/Pretend Relationship: i mean i gotta give this an A! it just has so much potential for yearning and angst but also fluff, it's legit got something for everyone :))

continuing my trend of rpf-ing on main by rec'ing Stay Cool It's Just a Kiss by @pixiegrl which is a cute 5+1 fake dating fic!

for a twist on the traditional fake dating premise, the characters who fake date are not the end couple (but it does help them end up with who they want to date!) in this dc comics fic: Putting both hands over my mouth, I can only hope nothing's gonna come out by @hmslusitania

if you're looking for a more traditional fake dating fic, The Next Step: Become Your Own Better Half, Today by @hermannsthumb is a classic pacific rim fake dating fic where hermann & newt accidentally end up on a couple's counseling retreat

Arranged Marriage: i think this is probably a B+ for me! i love this kind of forced proximity, and i think it's got a lot of potential for tense dynamics with characters not really sure exactly where their partner lands on the relationship, and how to move forward in the future, but it's not necessarily a trope i'm actively searching for when i'm looking for fic

turns out i've only got one fic with the arranged marriage tag in my bookmarks, and it's the excellent d20 acofaf fic A Place of Our Own by thinksleep! it's an excellent example of how to perfectly balance pining for someone and thinking it's unrequited all while you're getting ready to marry them

Secret Relationship: probably a C tbh. i'm someone who loves slowburn and pining, and with secret relationship the characters are already together so there isn't as much of that (not that there can't be pining! just that they already know the person loves them even if they have to hide their relationship.) that being said i do enjoy it done well and it can be played very humorously which can be fun!

i can't talk about secret relationship fics without bringing up the excellent fever dream high in the quiet of the night by @clumsyclifford. and yes i am once again rpf-ing on main but who cares it is simply *chef's kiss*

an excellent stranger things steddie fake dating fic is every man deserves his secrets by @ikarakie ! beyond just secret dating it's got some cute moments btwn eddie and the kids

if you ever wanted some secret relationship fun in the stylings of discworld, look no further than The Room From Which No One Can Escape by @dictionarywrites !

decided to do an update on my new fav roller coasters so here are the pocs of them !! all coasters are from cedar point

I LOVE siren’s curse,, literally one of my favs of all time at cedar point. the drop is amazing and the music they play on there is awesome too (upsetting how they don’t have it in the vid)

and maverick was really fun too, one of the really fast ones they had there

i liked gatekeeper for the view and the loops :)

also, i’d like to add that when i was there yesterday, they let me and my dad go on sirens curse and maverick twice in row without having to go back in line it was so fucking awesome
