Monday Morning Marks.7: Washington Executive Search

We use representations of DC landmarks all the time, but surprisingly, we only seem to have one mark in the archives for an entity with Washington in the name. A long-time client struck out on her own and hired us to brand her new business. The search and placement firm focused on the myriad high-powered trade group and legal firms in this town, so needed a thoughtful mark to stand out in a discerning field. dbd Studio - Digitally Fabricated Bookshelf in Dupont Circle - Washington, DC - dbd Studio recently decided to re-brand their image.  The Washington, DC based design firm posted a logo design contest on 99designs and received over 200 submissions from graphic designers around the world.  One of the designs has been selected and their website is now undergoing a complete overhaul along with their social media presence. 

Although several things are changing with the firm (all for the better), the caliber of their work and the unique design aesthetic that dbd Studio is known for has not changed.  The restaurant industry and design scene in Washington, DC will be seeing a lot of great things from this firm.  Keep your eyes open for more of their work popping up all over the DC Metro area.  Learn more about dbd Studio on Facebook and Twitter.
