Spinel's design has been gradually going through updates and this is the most current.
Reason for changes:
-The shape between his ears didn't serve any kind of purpose other than to be a distinct shape. Changed it to frosting to match tail and resemble his original hair, which meant changing the frosting color on the tail to match. Besides that, the brown in the frosting was its own color and that wasn't necessary.
-Eyes are more expressive, less animalistic
-The lumpies on his cheeks were a pain in the ass to draw consistently and also were not consistent with the shape language in his design. Made them just 2 swooping shapes to match the frosting.
-The heart marking on his nose was a pain to include at times depending on the angle. it also felt slapped on, but without any white on his face he looks too plain. Decided to give him more of a masked look to resemble eye shadow.
-Made his nose a heart shape and updated his markings to give consistent arches to match the heart
