I hoped this would be a modern take on a dark Alice in wonderland. I always think it is hard to find a balance between wearable fashion and unique expression. I thirst to be a little different, perhaps because I have some skill to make my own clothes, so while I'm at it, I thought I might as well make a dress that isn't something one could just buy elsewhere. I wanted it to be distinct, with my voice, my touch, my thoughts, yet something that is still acceptable in public fashion. Having said that, I wonder if this appeals or resonates with anyone out there, because I'm seriously considering launching my own clothing line.
