India Design 2023. Brilliant preview evening of the best in design and decor . We have a legacy in our family of being patrons of design . Our ancestral house , the Pyarelal Mansion in Delhi where I was born, was designed by Master Sathe & Kothari way back in 1949. This is the same firm which designed The Oberoi New Delhi in 1965. My parents still have the Art Deco Burmese teak furniture in their house in perfect shape till date. When I got married in 1998, Ayush Kasliwal (Anantaya Design showing at ID) designed an entire suite of furniture that included the bedroom and drawing room furniture with a unique design sensibility of teak and cast iron.
