Made a new desktop setup at long last. Wanted something bright but minimal (for me, anyways). Here's everything I used to make this:

Wallpaper

I’m also using rainmeter, a desktop customization and system monitoring tool. You can download different skins/widgets for rainmeter or make your own to make it look pretty much however you want. The following are the skins I used to make this desktop.

The date, time, and weather widget is CHRONOS II+ by adni18

The player and visualizer (dancing bars) are from the Amphitrite Suite, also by adni18

The CPU, Ram, and Drive monitors all come from the Cantarell suite by ApexXx-SenSei

Other non-rainmeter stuff I used to make this setup:

The dock (top) is Nexus Dock

The dock icons are from LineX Icon Pack (ported over to Windows from Android and recolored with Nexus Dock)

My cursors are Catppuccin Cursors for Windows by niivu (Latte-Sky)

I know my blog hasn’t been active for a few days, I was sick (NOT Covid), so hopefully normal posting will return soon, but in the meantime I made myself a new Desktop Setup. Pride is coming up, so it’s in Bi Flag colors! Yeah, I’m a dork! Anyways, here’s the links to everything I used to make this.

Omnimo 10 BY fediaFedia - Almost all the little squares with data on them are from this suite.

RetrOcOlOr BY HipHopium - The date, time, visualizer, and the now playing skin. I modified the date & time skin because it normally includes the weather, which is currently broken.

Elegante 2.0 By JosephB2000 - The notes skin. The Omnimo suite includes a notes skin, but I like this one better.

Amatical BY HipHopium - The quote skin. I use this skin in all my setups and I’ve heavily modified it.

Userpic Self-Portrait - I got this a few weeks ago from a tag meme on here. It’s cute, and my gf says it really does look like me, so I’ve been using it as my Windows userpic.

Cursor Night Diamond v3.0 | Amethyst Purple BY BlooGuy (Free Version)

Start Button - It’s in this pack of cutesy start orbs anyways. I use Classic Shell to apply it.

This is my newest desktop setup, which I call “Supercolor”. I’ve been in the doldrums lately so I decided to dress up my desktop in bright colors to cheer myself up while I’m working.

I used rainmeter, a desktop customization and system monitoring tool for everything else. You can download different skins/widgets for rainmeter or make your own to make it look pretty much however you want. The following are the skins I used to make this desktop.

Most of this setup consists of the Gradient suite of skins by nik2104. I did edit the drives skin to show three drives instead of two, I edited the music skin to remove the cover art overlay (since cover art doesn’t work with Spotify), and I edited the Power skin to be a background for a slideshow skin (below). ETA: A little bit later I decided to turn the WIFI panel into a Folders panel instead. I used these cute gradient folders. New screenshot above.

The slideshow skin is from the Amnio suite by JosephB2000. It’s currently displaying all the pictures in my wallpaper folder.

I added a small music visualizer to the music skin. It’s from the Arista suite by HipHopium.

“Tangerines In The Sky” desktop wallpaper

The suite I used for the clock, weather, now playing widget, and the system meters is called Mnml 2017. It was written by HipHopium, but he doesn’t have it listed on his DeviantART for some reason, so I uploaded it to dropbox.

The visualizer is from another suite by HipHopium called “Natural”

The top transparent dock and search is from a suite called “Alli IV” by SN37

I also changed my start button to a glowing line using Classic Shell. Here is the start button I used.

Quote (this is a skin that puts a random quote on my desktop from a saved text file of quotes. It’s from a larger suite of skins, but I heavily edited this one so it’s almost a new skin)

System Monitors and Drives (In the upper corners. Slightly edited to match the rest of the setup.)
