Questions For Me:

1. What is your favourite book?

I really love Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children and the Inheritance cycle :) 

2. What does your hair look like?

It's a pale blonde color, a little longer than my shoulders, and it's like, medium curly but when it first dries it's really fluffy and i look like a lion :)

3. Have any tattoos or piercings? If not, would you want some?

I have my ears pierced, but I'm allergic to almost every kind of earring so i don't wear any. As far as tattoos go, i'm 17 so i don't have any yet, but once i turn eighteen i'm getting a triforce on my back (to symbolize wisdom, power and courage :P) a deathly hallows sign on my hip, and the numbers on my ankle. Beyond that i don't really know, i think it would be really neat to have a bunch of science journal-y black lined flowers on my back but i'm not sure :)

4. Who is your favourite fictional character?

It's a tie between Ben, Sayid, and Lloyd Lowery from Breakout Kings :)

5. Do you read your horoscope, and stuff like that?

I am SUPER into my horoscope and astrology, I absolutely love all the zodiac stuff that's going around tumblr right now because it's so fun :)

7. What kind of TV shows/books did they watch/read?

We did not have a television growing up, and I've been told I wasn't the sort of child who'd sit still long enough to read. But I do remember sitting on the banister outside of the pubwith the other town boys so we could watch the football matches through the window. At least until the owner spotted us and would chase us off. 

8. What were bedtimes like?

When I was very young, bedtime came very early. Once the sun had set, my father and I would eat dinner, say our evening prayers, and retire to bed. I shared a mattress with him, and still remember fighting to keep my eyes open to hear the end of his stories. It wasn't until much later that I realized people stayed awake long after the sunset and that my father did as he did to conserve heat and lighting. 

9. How did they spend their Sundays?

Sundays were much the same as the other days of the week.

As much as this personal item would serve to represent a more or less friendly pact between them, it was a reminder that his job of pushing a mere button was very important. At least for the time being.

Room 133 || Penny and Desmond

Penny had been volunteering at the psychiatric hospital for almost a year now and was yet to fail with a patient, even if success meant simply getting a laugh from someone who had been adamant that there was nothing left in the world to smile about. She lacked the credentials to provide medication and therapy, but her kind spirit and determination were often equally effective treatments. However, they’d never been put to the test quite like they were about to be. A doctor had approached her about the particularly unique case of a patient who was alert, yet unresponsive to attempts at interaction. The doctor’s last, desperate theory was that perhaps he would respond to a new face, someone who was neither staff, nor patient. So, with a book under her arm, she signed in at the lobby desk and was directed to a Desmond Hume in Room 133. She gave a courtesy knock and went inside, closing the door behind her. “Hi, I’m Penelope. Penny. Now, I hear you don’t talk much,” she said, a teasing smile on her lips. “That’s okay, as long as you don’t mind being stuck with me for awhile.”
