FLAT MAG

This assignment was so much fun to do. Working in groups isn't always my favourite thing to do but I met some really nice friends in this task so that made the experience better. 

The magazine was derived from our joint love of the Vogue and Frankie magazines and how we thought that fashion is more attractive and “makes our eye wander” (wink wink) when it's bold and exciting rather than the dull and exclusive fashion we see in social media today.

WEEK 9

For the last week of activities in DESN1021, we had to design a logo. My logo was developed quite easily as I really do enjoy designing logos and the whole process. 

Firstly, the main element in the logo is the “A” for my name and having it in a slightly decorative font that is minimal, effective and aesthetically pleasing. 

The design works in both circular and rectangular form. The design was first done in black and white then introduced with a single colour. 

I continued the logo design by creating different mock-ups of business cards.
