She'd heard something, she was sure of it.
Margo had slipped out of bed intending to simply get a drink of water without disturbing sisters, parents or minions. Or at least that had been the original plan, until she'd heard unusual noises coming from the kitchen. Chances were it was just one of the minions up to their antics and wasn't anything to be concerned about; curiosity had gotten the better of the girl, however.
Pushing open the kitchen door, Margo fumbled a moment for the lightswitch, wondering just what she was going to be faced with when the bulb came on.
