i didn't realize that your brain can block memories out even as an adult
#suddenly remembered that when our apartment got sprayed for bugs once my ex was INSISTENT that they probably stole something#despite nothing being missing#so he CALLED THE COMPANY and LIED saying that certain things were missing#and he called me crazy and too trusting for not assuming they had done something while in the apartment alone#and i had totally blocked that out#he was so terrible during that time and made me terrified every day bc of how he'd speak to me#so i forgot about it until now#but he could've gotten that person FIRED#for something they DIDN'T DO#but the inconvenience of having to leave the apartment so it'd be sprayed was worse to him than someone losing their job#vent
