Destiel Prompt from an emotionally broken girl
Ahhm.......Castiel is a newly admitted cancer patient in the hospital that Dean works at. Obviously Castiels Doctor is Dean. During the months that Castiel spends and visits there their doctor/patient relationship becomes something more. They bond on a emotionally romantic level, sharing a few kisses here and there. The cancerous cells are all eradicated and Dean and Cas decide to pursue a more physical relationship once Castiel is physically healthy. They spend two months in romantic passionate bliss. It is sometime during their third month together that everything comes crumbling down. The Cancer has reappeared and compared to the last time, treatment is impossible. Castiel recieves news that he only has a few months left to live. It hits them both hard. They spend Cas' remaining months living and loving eachother as if the next day would be the last they would ever see one another. Dean stays and watches as the love of his life slowly deteriorates until he has to be admitted into hospital. All the while Cas is keeping a brave cheerful smile on, despite the pain he is going through. As Cas breathes his last breath he kisses Deans hand and tells him he will always watch over him, he will always protect him. He will become deans personal guardian angel. Just as Dean was during the time he was receiving treatment. Tears streaking down Deans pained face as the heart monitor flatlines. ...... Feel free to hate me....*goes off to cry in a corner*
