Fun fact, did you know that the special edition Fallen Captain figure is actually composed of magnetic segments that are put together?
Meaning it has... the cruelest accidental feature they could give it
Realistic Eliksni arm docking!

King's Fall Warlock steps out of Destiny
Continuing with my interest in Destiny figures, I ordered this badboy off Aliexpress:
Actually he was supposed to come in before Xûr, but the initial order was cancelled by the shipper. Luckily saw that on time through tracking and got the money back. After some time passed I saw that this was on a rather big sale, decided to give it a shot again.

The figure was packed well enough:
But as you can see - no original box.
The original box looks like this:
You can see that it’s supposed to have a stand and a little ghost friend. Mine does not possess those either.
The seller does claim these to be original though... Y’know, a seller on Aliexpress claiming to have “original” is not always true.
The figure itself had two weapons with it:
One weapon can be slotted onto the back of the warlock or both can be held in hands.
One thing that I noticed right away was the color mismatch.
Photos on site:
My warlock:
The bone parts are way darker than in product photos on site. Not the worst thing in the world, but a discrepancy there.
The waist is the worst offending part in my opinion, just because the bony parts are not painted as well:
However, with the paint job as it is, I am not too disgruntled about it. It looks good in photos nonetheless.
The big bad thing for photos and posing are the warlock joints. He has really stiff joints for hands, I still have hard time moving them. Not much movement in general, many poses are just not possible with the hands. You cannot place the hands in front of him, can’t even move them to be close enough for “aiming”. The funny thing is that his legs move really well, if he didn’t have that stiff coat... kicks for days! :D
Conclusion
Do I recommend him?
No, not really. I have seen these figures going for clearance prices for just as cheap as I got him from Aliexpress. Those are original for sure, than this one. Plus they have all of the parts.
Unless the originals become rare as hell and it’s impossible to get them. Then maybe it’s worth grabbing.
Would I get an original?
No, not really. I was not there for this, not for original Destiny. I hold no sentimental value for it.
Would I play Destiny?
To be honest, I don’t know. The current (as of May 1st, 2020) Destiny 2 has really really turned me off from ever approaching anything Bungie related. I felt dirty buying the expansions when they were on sale. It might be because of Eververse shoveling and just how shallow the game feels when you walk smack dab into the content paywalls. PAY PAY PAY. Then the content that is there pretty much seems to be bounties. At least for this season. Gods, it’s so boring. Is original Destiny better than this? I do wish to know.
Ayooo look who just got daddy ;) He’s so big and gorgeous Even though he’s still a bitch
