OC reveal: Zygris (she/her), Eliksni Captain/Baroness from House of Stars.

This house is quite moderate in their vieuws on the Traveler. They neither trust it, nor do they seek revenge on it. They have buried their grudges against the Traveler and just focus on rebuilding Eliksni civilisation and preserving what's left of it and their culture.

Zygris seeks answers of why the Traveler abandoned them. She personally believes it to be afraid of something.

Idk tongues

I actually have no clue which designs they really would have, that could have a meaning. And they even might not have tongues at all (on models they don't have but could be game thing with not making every detail that might be not seen).

Eliksni and Hive have similar "insectoid alien" theme in my alien types division. Tho their vibes might be different. The Hive has this bio metamorphosis near body-horror theme. As Eliksni are… less weird as Hive and they somehow remind me snakes. And I gave them bristles that arthropods have (but I didn't like them being orange with their base coloration). But maybe I portrayed these as too dense here (even on the variant where they're less fuzzy). Idk how they would do clicking sounds logically. Maybe could have additional jaws inside. Snake part is their tongue being split and its tips getting almost hidden (snakes have double-colored tongues also) (I thought it would look cooler) Didn't plan to go into much detail on their heads. I wonder if some of these species could use their tongue as proboscis and drink through it.

Not sure which of official designs are the most canon. Like there're renders of Eliksni and Lucent Hive Acolyte models that may differ from these in the game. And so are these just a simplification for the game or no (some model parts seemed to be really remade not as game's simplification) (I don't mean parts that are absent). But still, I love doing alien anatomical stuff

I didn't like Exo tongue example, how bad my understanding might be for translating humanoid anatomy to robot and what logic it must have, what muscles can be ignored and not added. I based them of these irl robotic tentacles, but adding side to side option, not only up/down (if it really could work mechanically). But I thought it looked bad and was not sure if to include.

I think Hive could have a lot of accidents with biting off the part of their tongue, so Idk if they should have them long like this, even if they could fold/stretch back. That's why I added the second option. Their structure with holes seems to be very inconvenient, but it looked neat for Hive vibe.

Remembered abt fish and these isopods instead of tongues, and if there could be AU where Hive Worms are not big and reside in Hive's mouths. Creepy

Guess, drawing on bigger canvas really can make a difference instead "pixel in pixel". Usually I draw near 1200x1500, especially comics. Some wide pieces could be at 2050x1500 (ans c0mms were bigger too). It's some personal thing where I feel too unusual to make canvas bigger, that they're not so serious and deserving to have a bigger canvas and to occupy more space on the disk. These works also look smaller after getting onto a new laptop bc of its resolution, so I got even more confused how things might be seen for others with such difference

At first thought to post this version where colours are dull, to have more emphasis on the main subject, and lines are seen better. But then there's less understanding how tongues look together with characters' colours
