EAH destiny system
Reaching out to all the eah people here! Ive been wondering about one of the inconsistencies in the show for a while (and have only read a couple books) and was wondering if yall have a general explanation that most people agree on or if there’s different theories.
So, the whole destiny system is dependent upon the children following their parent’s legacies. But if two characters are supposed to be together in their fairytale, how do they decide which parent gets one of their kids to fulfill their destiny? There are cases where they both could like cerise and ramona i suppose but what if it’s a Royal family like the charmings?
From what I’ve seen, the oldest sibling fulfills the destiny (in the case of Holly and Poppy, and presumably Daring, Dexter, and Darling). But who was their mother if not Cinderella, Aurora, or Snow White? Those are the only Prince Charming stories I can think of, but maybe they’re cousins of Ashlynn somehow?? I have no idea how to figure that out that doesn’t result in a lot of unfortunate royal incest.
My main guess at a (not well thought out) theory is:
A) oldest sibling gets the prominent destiny
B) Royal families typically only have one child fulfill the family destiny, while the others fulfill other destinies so nobody marries their family.
Honestly I have no idea how this could work, nor do I really get the whole “raven is apple’s stepmother” deal so any additions on any of this are so welcome
