My girlyfriend suggested it to me a while ago. I thought it sounded dumb. Then I made an account. Then it took my life force away.

Yeah, I'll probably visit the US when I'm older or something, and as Daisy said our parents suck. They're just really paranoid about stuff

My parents used to be like that when I went to my first con and meet-up. But I convinced them by going with a large group of friends and an older guardian. They let me go, but not for long periods of time.

Oh that sucks. My sister and I have always wanted to go to a con but they aren't many in the UK and our parents won't let us anyway. I didn't do anything exciting today, I just relaxed at home.

That sucks as well. There's only 3 conventions that happen every year in Texas. You should try visiting the U.S., and why won't your parents let you go? The cons I've been to are pretty safe.
