Well to be fair we’re still on the writing about games side of things, I’m sure next week when we start writing for them we’ll start touching on some of the real masterpieces of storytelling (although this class apparently really likes Gone Home and Life is Strange so we may be in for some shit)

So far it just comes up every time we need a bad example of any given aspect of the game development cycle - I swear everyone in the class has been like “with a game like, oh I don’t know, let’s go with No Man’s Sky” at least twice. It’s almost a meme at this point where everyone just preemptively laughs/nods sagely when we hear the name.

its standard rpg with some gimmicks that make it really hard (e.g. party permadeath, a number of backtracking) but i love the story to bits if u couldnt tell by how much art i drew for it. idk watch the trailer and see what u think. it’s called Lisa the Painful RPG
ah okay, sounds interesting. I’m accumulating a lot of RPGs lately but I’ll definitely check it out
