the #HalseyIsOverParty thing isnt entirely about Iggy? its because she excused having a homophobic artist (quavo) on her album because of political correctness or some shit. i love halsey but what she said is wrong & she needs to apologize. she has too many lgbt+ fans to be excusing shit he did.

What is a quavo? I literally don’t know anything about this person except for the fact that he has a feature on her album and that him and Katy were accused of “homophobia” at SNL which was very quickly proven to be untrue by the same people they were supposedly homophobic too. Outside of those two instances I’ve never heard that name in my life. Can someone show me receipts of him being a homophobe? Also why does this individual have anything to do with Ashley being “over”? He could very well be a piece of shit, I don’t know anything about him but they’re separate people? “She has LGBT fans”…Ok but consider this…she *IS* queer herself. Don’t make her sound like some ignorant straight girl who is somehow removed from the community because she isn’t.

The funny thing about tumblr and twitter and why I don’t take any of y'alls fucking keyboard activism seriously is that half the people I’ve seen trashing Ashley have Gal icons/urls/headers/names etc. Y'all really quick to grab those flaming pitchforks to trash a mentally ill queer woman of color over a fucking feature on a song and tweets from when she was an actual child but bend over backwards to excuse a straight white woman who has touted a war criminal as a “hero” and supports the occupation, subjugation, and murder of innocent women and children. Most of y'all don’t have a fucking leg to stand on here. The fact that these people don’t see their own hypocrisy means they’re not worth arguing with. For YEARS now tumblr and twitter have actively looked for things to shit on Ashley for to the point that they’ve shat on her for having a fucking miscarriage. Y'all were just *waiting* for her to say something that you could blow up so you could have your supposed “gotcha” moment for the 7483858384 time in the past 3-4 years. Y'all been salivating for it because you do it like every other month. I hadn’t heard y'all frothing at the mouth for a while so I guess y'all were overdue for your little hashtag party at this point.

Keep pretending that Ashley isn’t actually one of the most educated women in entertainment when it comes to social justice/feminism/LGBT topics. Y'all look silly.
