It had been a few years since she’d almost gone down for a crime that would’ve buried her completely. Had it not been for her genius way to shift things enough to merely be arrested on a drug charge was still something that surprised her to this day. They had almost found her standing over a dead body, now they’d just tossed her in a cell for the night and charged her a sum for possession of drugs. Because she was a first time offender and spun the story enough not to go down for the big drug dealer she was, she got of really fucking easy. Part of that might have been to do with the cop that chartered her for drugs. Detective Beth Childs, the first and only cop she would get in bed with -not literally. 

Time had passed since then. Lily provided Beth with the drugs she wanted and Beth got her money or a favor. Lily didn’t even deal drugs, that was something of her past, but for some reason she decided to make an exception for the cop. 

It couldn’t go well. 

As cautious as Lily was, this might be the most stupid thing ever. But she was drawn to Beth. The woman interested her, as did her story. Today was just another day of taking that risk. She planned on meeting outside of the bar, before going in. She was standing in the alley close to the bar, cigarette locked between her fingers. “Took you long enough” She said, exhaling the smoke before she turned her head into the detective’s direction.

"After a Delphine left, she needed a confidant. I wasn't going to deny her comfort. I tried to stay clear of that when you left the circle, and they almost cut me loose. Why does it matter so much to you?"

Sarah wasn´t sure what time it was as she walked along the dark streets, moving waveringly from side to side now and then thanks to the alcohol she had drank during the day. How much she had, she didn´t know, but it was a lot. The brunette was in a dark stage right now. She was dealing with the loss of Kendall and also with Mrs.S´hatred for her. Her brother probably hated her too, for giving him a hard time because of his biological sister. Sarah felt alone and empty. She closed her eyes for a moment, when she opened them again, she was there again. Beth. Sarah looked at her, an amused look appearing on her face. “What do you want now?”, she asked, a slight slur in her voice. “Didn´t I say stop following me?”

The dull throb at the  curve of her skull didn’t hurt half as much as the pair of hands clutch-ing her biceps.      Her eyes widened and sheilted her chin upward,     trying to put even a-nother  inch  between   her and  her  violentlyangry sister.    She was otherwise motionless.

“Beth...”     Her voice wasn’t above a whisper. “I am your  only  gateway  to  the answer youso desperately want.       Consider the conse-quences of what you’re doing.”

i agree! i don’t think i can say whether it is problematic/queerbaiting until i see the whole episode. i hope they are gonna be a thing :)

omg thank you! let me know what you think after you see the whole episode! i have mixed feelings about it now that ive had time to process but i still overall enjoyed it??
