I know I haven't updated my fics on ao3 in awhile. The thing is I've been in a depressive funk as of late...I have been struggling to write and draw, which is why Snow Day on my other sideblog has been so severely delayed.

That said, I did manage to get most of the next chapter of The Three C's written down, aside from the very end of it and this bit at the start:

Abe x Wilford. Thoughts? (NOT x William)

While I do still consider DAtective my main Abe ship, I do understand why people would ship Wilford and Abe. I definitely don’t think this ship would work if it was just William since he literally killed the DA (albeit accidentally) and they both hated each other. However, with the new video you can see how Abe’s and Wilford’s relationship has changed dramatically. Whether or not your shipping them as a couple or as just friends, I think they do have a pretty interesting relationship and chemistry. They’re practically opposites of each other, who view life very differently, and have spent years hating each other, but they also need each other in order to figure out the new crazy world they are in.

(Not to mention how they are perfect foils for each other, I could probably write all day about how well their characterization is and how it developed in this newest video. Their qualities just contrast each other in a way that really compliment one another)

Also lets not forget how Wilford is basically played up as Abe’s “femme fatale” lol

Overall, I think Abe x Wilford is good ship that may actually have become my new favorite Wilford ship, as there is a lot you could do with it and it just happens to make more sense in general and story-wise than some other ships(coughcoughWilfordxDarkipliercoughimsorry) in my opinion.
