- “I have an idea, but you’ll have to go in partially naked”
Connor frowned as he looked at the detective. “I don’t see what good that would do. Why?” How could he still get surprised by something Gavin said?

For @detectiveprick
Ever since Connor had first set his feet into the precinct he’d tried to just fit in and avoid getting too much trouble for being an android ‘doing a human’s job’. Sometimes he had defended himself, sometimes he had just let it pass by knowing that at least the officials actively wanted him there and he was sure Hank would have his back too at this point. It had taken time, but now he was getting the hang of it.
And then there was Gavin. Connor had thought Hank had been the one with android issues, but he had won him over. He wasn’t sure where he was going with Gavin. Occasionally he seemed to have made improvement, but then he would suddenly feel back at where he started. He didn’t give up trying though.
“I noticed you didn’t go out for lunch earlier today,” the android stated as he approached the detective’s desk, carrying a cup of coffee in one hand and a box containing a vegetable sandwich in the other. Both of which were placed in front of the detective as soon as he got close enough to do it.

Send ☘ for a compliment from my muse
“You’re certainly doing a good job speaking your mind, detective Reed. But as a proper compliment I will say it is.. admirable the way you seem to stay on task even though something seems to be bothering you.”
