The patrol had been calm for the most part, but even if the ciclist was glad there didn’t seem to be anything bad happening, he was still as alert as one could be. After all, it was his duty as a hero to look after others, and for that reason Mumen didn’t hesitate to jump out of his bicycle and let Justice fall when he saw what was going to happen. Yelling for the child to watch out didn’t seem to get her attention, nor did the horn from the car that was going to colide against her, so his only option was to use his momentum to get a hold of the other and take her away from harms way, though he did end up losing his balance and falling once the danger had passed.

In a normal situation the hero would have wondered where the child’s parents were, if she was lost and would have stopped to offer help taking her home, but right now, he only had one thing in mind - to make sure she was not hurt - though the child’s words and her reaction threw everything for a loop.

At first he was taken aback - though not surprised that she didn’t recognize him... He was only a class C hero after all... But seeing as she seemed to be afraid of him, he did just what the other said. Even if he wanted to check to see if she was injuried, he was not going to touch her, instead, his hands moved up to remove the bicycle helmet and the goggles, revealing his messy brown hair and his eyes behind the glasses he had to wear,  so that she could see his face - after all, if she was already scared of him, not being able to see his face would only make her distrustful of him, right?

Leaning forward slightly, the man placed his hands on the ground before him where she could see them while kneeling down, with a gentle smile he took a submissive instance as to show her he would pose no threat before asking what he really wanted to seeing as no one had come by to pick her up and check on her.

“Are you alright? You’re not hurt, are you? Do you need me to call anyone for you?”

Hakkai had left the shops with two brown bags in his arms, so he walked down the street, heading back to the inn but halted as he heard someone. “...?” His head turned, trying to locate where the voice came from, then he looked down and saw someone. “Alone...?” He raised a brow at their words. “Well... Currently I am alone right now, as my friends are still at the inn. Though I must admit I’m now curious on why you said that to me.” Truth be told, he knew he wasn’t alone. It wasn’t like before when he was at the orphanage, or when Kanan got killed. He knew the word ‘alone’ too well alongside with another word. ‘lonely’. Even if he was still at a place with other orphans and nuns, he still felt alone as he had no one truly there for him, which cause his behaviour to go down, getting all negative as he frowned a lot as a child. 

“Who... are you by the way?”

(Actually, if you ask me, Sanzo would more likely be an alexandrite or Ametrine (more likely the Ametrine) to represent the duality of his personality. showing both his true nature and the darker side of his mind. c:)

// tbh- Yeah, I think Ametrine might be more better for him- I know the chrome diopside is good for Hakkai, as it is traditionally said to be helpful for healing- and it can get in the touch with the feminine side- I do hope Gojyo’s gem is good- if not, please suggest any that will be more suitable for him- anyway, thanks for telling me~
