Years ago, Peter Hale was the sole survivor of his family in Beacon Hills, angels on earth. He lost his wings, burned to a crisp when a rogue hunter decided to make her move for power. In the chaos of his recovery, Peter lost his sanity, killing one of the remaining family members, Laura, who had been away during the fire. This act scars him, sears him as a demon.
