Idk if I told you about my Deter fic!!! Legit, I plotted it out during Deter Week… last year 😭😭

I wanna do Deter where Derek was the one who was comatose, not Peter. So Laura goes back to Beacon Hills and is killed by Derek, and Peter goes off to investigate.

It’s been simmering for a long ass time but I think about it aaalll the time. I just love unhinged Derek!!

The number of half-started drafts that I have that are old enough to be in school by now...I feel you! I just finished a Deter Week 2024 fic this year!

Role reversal is so precious to me like yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!! Thinking about the implications of Laura and Peter being the survivors and how it would affect the dynamics is so interesting and of course, an unhinged Derek is always a good thing. He fucking deserves to be unhinged lmfao.

"Merry Christmas, nephew," Peter says when he, probably fortunately, answers his phone. "Or, as I should say, happy birthday."

Peter's voice is sly in a way that makes it clear he remembers exactly which birthday it is and knows why Derek is calling him. Derek sighs and wonders what kind of mayhem he's about to invite into his life by asking Peter for help.

WIP Wednesday Game Fills

Finally did some writing. It's been weeks. Hopefully, I can keep it up. This first set of sentences is from my belated @deterweek 2026 Cops & Robbers prompt fic. Thanks to @wizisbored and @tamsinswriting for the requests. Thanks for making me write! ~

"Hello, Stiles," Peter, one of the owners, says to him early one morning. "You look very nice."

Stiles casts a slantways look at Peter, pretty sure he wants something. He knows he looks the same as he does every other morning.

"Here, one caramel latte," Peter says, handing over a cup with a level of panache Stiles could never hope to achieve.

Stiles takes the cup and takes a sip. He's surprised to discover it's made with all his normal modifications.

"You know how I make my coffee," he says.

Summary:

My fic for Deter Week 2026

Hunters have gone to war against werewolves. Six years ago they dealt a crippling blow against the Hales by burning down the Pack House with most of the Pack inside. With the Argent, Calavera, and Munroe Clans closing in on the remnants of the Hale Pack, the other Packs urge Talia to do something to shore up their strength. Her best option, much to her chagrin, is to reach out to her brother Peter.

The Hales haven't seen Peter since he left the Pack and formed his own splinter Pack. He's even more conniving and handsome than Derek remembered, and everyone expects Peter to extract a heavy price for his help in this war. What Derek was not expecting, was for the price to be his hand in marriage.

How can he say no when Peter is offering Derek everything he wants on a silver platter? A pack that accepts him, the love of a mate, and the chance to be a werewolf proper.

As always with war and love, things are more complicated than that.
