the only unbelievable thing about Détraquée Hermione is that she chose to dedicate her life to law, fucking LAW, arguably the most brain-rotting, useless, soul-sucking discipline that exists in the modern world… I just cannot believe someone who loves reading and culture as much as she does would wilfully choose to study law.
