A growing set of found sounds.
Recently I had a 7-day trip through Lusatia testing new equipment and gathering ambiences for upcoming documentaries. The trip mainly took me along former opencast mines that now slowly turn into lakes. To me those lakes appear like oversized plasters that heal the wounds we have caused to mother nature. The set features three snippets taken at Berzdorfer See in the early morning hours. In order to regulate humidity and water levels along this lake the old principle of a Hydraulic Ram got reinvented. It is a huge underground water pump that works without the need for external energy supply which really impressed me. So this Ram relentlessly works day in and day out - emitting shifting patterns of metallic rhythms. While recording "Passing Trains" library I captured this wonderful composition of three trains that pass through the night one by one. It is the raw recording. There are no edits applied. Place: Obervogelgesang, Saxon Switzerland, Germany Time: March 2014, 11 pm
Some bells with a background tone recorded from a pot with nice timbre. Later processed by several vst plugins
This is the second installment of a series of graphic generated sounds. Gra.FX2, delivers a surprising toolbox of 63 instruments for the creation of otherworldly, dissonant textures and drones. The sample pool of the instruments was created by parsing more than 100 bitmaps by a variety of specialized software tools.

Detunized Guitar introduces the sounds from a stock acoustic guitar with 3 steel and 3 nylon strings. The instrument´s recordings were taken from two different microphone positions and are captured to phase-aligned dual-mono samples. So each preset of the Live Pack has a dedicated macro control for blending between these mic positions. Guitar includes 2 guitar presets, 3 bass presets, a drum machine with hits and scrapes from the guitar body plus a handful of processings and adaptions of the original sounds. http://detunized.com/live_back_packs/index.php#DTS044
