It was a pathetic sight really, a man wearing such lavish aristocratic clothes counting dollars and pennies at a clothing shop. Frustration written clear on his face, he scowled as he held up the line. Preposterous. The Hatter, not having enough money on him? Having to buy a jacket off of the bargain rack to replace the one with coffee spilled all over it? And then the store had the audacity to mislabel the price, leaving the proud man floundering at the checkout line. The clerk gets aggravated watching him and tells Blood that he is holding up the line.
But he would not admit defeat. He always had to have the upper hand. He holds his head up high and snatches his money off of the table.
“Hmph. Your products are all terribly overpriced for such shoddy quality. And the stitching? Your seamstress should be ashamed of herself. These will fall apart after a short stroll.” He turns back to the woman next in line. “If I were you, young lady, I would take my business elsewhere.”
