No matter what, Sapnap always has some relation to fire. There's mainly just two different ideas that I have for him as a monster, those being Demon Sap and Blaze Sap.
Demon Sapnap is, well, demonic. This Sapnap more visibly takes after his father, BBH, with blank orange eyes, two sets of horns curling from his head, pieces of his body seemingly made from charcoal, and constantly wreathed to some extent with fire. He also used to have birdlike wings, but they've been wounded and scarred, all the feathers burnt off and leaving him with useless little wing nubs. At least there are little claws on the end of the nubs, so he can hold stuff kinda.
Blaze Sapnap is more standard Minecraft stuff, also with Sap being wreathed in fire because that's pretty hot (pun absolutely intended). Sapnap looks mostly human with the exception of orange flame-like markings that cover his body and the blaze rods that constantly circle around him, but his body comes apart cleanly and easily. He's missing a stomach, the space between his ribcage and his hips nothing but empty air. He also doesn't have a neck, and nearly all of his joints are floating in midair as well. At he very least, he's incredibly flexible.
Both kinds of monster Sap are always hot to the touch, making him the absolute perfect heater for George and especially the always-cold Dream. It's very soft and cute. Also fangs, but that's a given
:bongocat: Bug, tell more about Deep, I'm interested.
I. Bro. Bro you don’t know what you’re asking bro
- His name is literally The Deep One, but it’s just easier to call him Deep. His ACTUAL name is Mutans Tyche bc I had no idea how to name characters back then and still have no idea now.
- His backstory is... A little bit completely all over the place. It has gone through MANY permutations, but the basis is that Mutans was a bit of a complete asshole and a scientist who specialized in nonhuman viruses. Yes, this is one of the characters I made in my “scientists are fucking people too, quit making every scientist an evil one” phase before I finally bit the bullet and started making all of my characters to be the evil scientists that experimented on the poor angsty superpowered teenagers that exist in every rp ever (no I’m not salty in the slightest /s). For his research project he took an internship at a submerged laboratory outpost deep in the Atlantic. While he was there, a very unique pathogen was found in a captured squid that seemed to be mostly harmless but caused rabies-like aggression. Either due to an accident or on purpose, Mutans got infected with the pathogen and locked himself in quarantine, allowing the other scientists to study the effects on a human being in the name of science.
- Unfortunately, it turns out that mysterious viruses infecting squid have a very, VERY different effect on humans. Except instead of completely ignoring human cells as most viruses of that ilk would do, it took them over completely... And began to turn Mutans into, essentially, a pile of black, fleshy goo.
- Proceed The Thing, but underwater.
- After that whole horror show, the newly reborn shapeshifting monster woke up in the depths of a dark, cold ocean, surrounded by the broken and flooded remains of the laboratory and feeling oddly sated. Also, having no fucking idea who the hell he was or anything to do with his surroundings. Because amnesia is fun.
- What happens from that point on is very dependent on the universe I throw him in, but pretty much always includes him meeting back up with his brother, Ashton. @ashasass can talk more about him, but suffice to say that Ash sure is A Character, and also everything that Goose did to him is what gained them the angst crown for four years and running
- Deep is very heavily inspired by Alex Mercer from Prototype, a relatively obscure game from 2009 that who is a man-eating shapeshifting amnesiac scientist whose powers come from the virus that he was working on. Which. Uh. Yeah. His characterization and abilities have moved away from that a bit, but at the very start he was basically just an underwater ripoff
- Deep is weirdly naive in a mildly threatening way. He’ll stand silently in the corner of a darkened room waiting for someone and then not understand why they start screaming when they turn on the light and there’s a grey-faced yellow-eyed man with anglerfish teeth standing there in the corner. When he is reunited with his brother he starts to learn that humans are a bit touchy about things like somebody opening up their chest cavity in the middle of a room to grab the cellphone that they stuck in there, but still is absolute shit at understanding boundaries. He does, however, know that he can, has and will kill for the sake of his brother.
- He can only eat raw meat because that’s more fun
- His blood and the entirety of his flesh is black. This makes his already-pale skin tone about the same as a corpse’s, and the veins visible underneath are really uncomfortable to look at.
- His speaking patterns are... Well, unique. His anatomy has changed so much that he straight-up does not know how to form a normal human mouth anymore, so he speaks haltingly and with a rasp and a lisp.
- I just love this dumbass shapeshifting bastard of a character, okay, I gotta find a way to use him again
⊰☠⊱ "..." Of course he would hold his tongue, onyx narrowed and glaring at the elder god himself and he would not comment. No, why answer and bend knee when he cared nothing for Olympians save for little of them.
