11.) Is there an animal you equate with your character?

Birds probably.

30 Days of Character Development - Days 1-10

1.)  Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?

Yukio's relationship with his parents was a strained one when he was a child due to him always getting himself involved in all sorts of trouble due to his anger. He always got annoyed over the fact his parents would make him apologize to the other kids he beat up though most of them had it coming in his opinion and would get irritated whenever his parents would not take his side when he got into trouble. Growing up he both admired and envied his parents talents as mechanics since they would be able to repair things with their ability while he usually ended up destroying things due to his temper. He is grateful to them for allowing him to work in their shop when he "left" his career as a pro duelist. As his parents are currently working at the engineering corps as mechanics for the turbo cavalry Yukio does try to not cause them any more trouble than he already has by either trying to repair his D-Wheel on his or ensure it never gets damaged.

2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?

It would probably be the look on his eyes since usually they would appear lifeless and bored but when angered they have a menacing look that an enraged animal would have.

3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?

He has quite a few scars on his back from duels and fights the latter mostly because he would usually end up facing multiple opponents and someone would attack him from behind. He has some on his hands as well from the times he spent tuning up his D-Wheel.

4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?

Regarding his skills as a duelist he has enormous amount of pride and believes he can't be easily taken down. If its about his appearance he hardly pays any attention to them though he is very serious about taking care of his hygiene so he'll make sure his appearance his clean at all times if possible.

5.) What’s your character’s ranking on the KINSEY SCALE?

He swings between 2 and 3 but regardless Yukio hardly seems to not care too much about romantic relationships due to currently being in a war. He also does feel like it would be bad luck to him since he believes that it always the lovers who get taken out first in wars. 

6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.

His happiest memories would be during his time spent as a pro duelist. He loved having audience cheer him on as he defeated his opponents and being able to rise through the ranks was a great thing to experience.

7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?

Of course the war would be one of them not to mention him getting some security officers killed due to his reckless decision to take on a group of fusionist alone. 

8.) Day of Favorites! What’s your character’s favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?

Ice cream: Mint Chip

Color: Dark green and Purple are his favourite colors.

Song: He likes quite a lot and can easily change depending on his mood so its hard for him to pick a true favourite.

Flower: The amaryllis

9.) Who does your character trust?

He has an large amount of trust towards his friend Tatsuya to the point that if he had to choose trusting the judgment of synchro command or Tatsuya he would choose the latter undoubtedly. He also trusts his mechanics allowing them and only them to touch his D-Wheel without question. Most importantly he has a firmly believes in his deck and own strength since he knows no matter what happens those two are the only things he can wholeheartedly rely on, this also prevents him from getting easily overcome with despair when pushed to a corner in a duel.

10.) Can you define a turning point in your character’s life? Multiples are acceptable.

Definitely getting a bunch of security officers killed due to his recklessness.
