Yukio noticed he may have unintentionally frightened Kyoko and decided to try and reassure her, feeling it wasn’t right to intimidate someone who was helping him. “Well you seem reliable so I don’t have to worry about any of that.” Yukio continued looking around the garage to keep himself occupied during the time.
She poked around inside his bike, admiring the craftsmanship some as she made the necessary modifications to admit the new transmission, with bots assisting her with the simple work of reattaching the wheel. Noticing he was walking around, examining the garage, she decided to speak up and maybe offer something more interesting. “I-I-I-If you want…later I could show you my…um…storage….I keep…things…back there.”
As he continued to check around the garage, Yukio couldn’t help be interested over the various parts and equipment he never saw before. “Huh? Oh really thanks then.” Yukio said.
"Uh sorry if this may sound a bit too direct seeing as we’ve just met and all but which area around here are you from?" Yukio asked trying his best to not sound nosy.
Smalltalk. This was good. He must like her, or something. Just…keep him interested. Answer his questions. That’s how small talk works, right?
Oh. This was a…difficult question. Quietly, Kyoko mumbled, “Satellite….”
Hearing this his eyes widened slightly. "Oh... I see then." Satellite, that was the first place those fusionist seized Yukio thought. Having always lived in Neo Domino he never had to abandon his home when academia began their invasion so he really wouldn't understand what she went through or how she felt. Its best if I don't go any further and just change the subject he thought.
"Well sorry about having to make you bring that up and all. So are you the only mechanic in your family?"
