Personal Headcanon: When he turned 16, he managed to get a fake id in order to get a tattoo on the back of his neck. It was a random symbol he had found in an old book and he had just flat out liked it. What he didn’t know at the time was it was a protective sigil. He found out the hard way what it did when he ended up getting into an accident.
People often ask him what Wes is short for, most assuming it’s Wesley, but the truth is, his name is literally just Wes.

Personal Headcanon: Neither one of them had ever really discussed adopting kids but Darla just sort of...happened. She was two, her mother was someone Lissa had met a few times. When she found out what the kid’s mom was planning to do with the little girl, she took her. There was no way in hell Lissa was raising a kid either though, so Devin and Zayde took her.
They gave the girl Devin’s last name to protect her from the reputation Zayde’s father has.
