who: @devanitoland when: modern week / winter's dance
The appearance of a certain someone gave Ginny pause, uncharacteristically on the edge of the ball room. She had been whisked away on one dance after the other and was now nursing a drink to recharge.
Every time Devani Toland and Ginny had stumbled upon one another had ended in a whirlwind. During a time where Ginny was desperate to numb the bad, she was also desperately changing what could help her feel. Anything at all, really, but most of all something exhilarating. Something tangible. To be touched by someone not eager to keep a piece of you for themselves, but to make you forget for a night or two. Ginevra had been desperate to forget back then. But she had not forgotten how grateful she'd been to Devani.
Discarding a half finished drink on a side table, Ginny approached the woman, determined. "Care for a dance?"
