New Betas quietly drop
Apple has released the first developer betas for iOS 26.5 and macOS 26.5, giving early access to the next round of updates across its platforms. These builds are mainly intended for testing, so developers can start checking compatibility and spotting bugs ahead of a wider release.
So far, the updates don’t appear to introduce major new features. Instead, they focus more on behind-the-scenes improvements like performance tweaks, stability fixes, and smaller refinements that usually come after bigger version changes.
