Joint Smart Grid & Electric Vehicles Research & Development Centre (JSEC)

AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland, and the College of Engineering of Alfaisal University have partnered to create the Joint Smart Grids & Electric Vehicles Research & Development Centre (JSEC), a new engineering research facility. The Center, which will be housed at Alfaisal University, has been given a total equipment budget of 6 million SAR. In accordance with Saudi Arabia's vision 2030, the objective is to facilitate research and the development of solutions for the difficulties encountered in the sectors of smart grids, microgrids, renewable energy systems, energy storage, and electric car technologies.
