Our most dedicated #volunteer Muneer Master & @taome_ delivering the yr1 session. They spend plenty of time on the ball but sessions are always fun and engaging with #games used to help work on movement skills. "Catch the tail" is a popular game for kids and #coaches! #weareahffc #developmentcentre

Introducing... the YouPlay! League
Did you play in our YouPlay! Saturday morning football sessions?
Then you’ll know what YouPlay! is all about. Fun, easily accessible, low cost, low commitment football for the community for those who couldn’t play in FA affiliated leagues.
Now we bring you, the 24/7 Home Rescue YouPlay! League for school age years 5 to 8 (aged 9-13) at Blackburn Powerleague Soccerdome, Saturdays, 1pm.
The league will run for 3 months starting 1st November 2014.
The games will be 6-a-side with teams split into age appropriate groups.
If you have a local team already with your friends from your local mosque or school you can register as a full team and get one of the parents to act as your manager; or you can sign up individually and we’ll put you into teams. The cost will be only £25 per child for the full 3 months.
But hurry: We already have 6 teams from the current YouPlay! set-up.
If you can’t view the registration form below in your browser, please click here for the form.

Some background:
AHF FC was set up to cater for the needs of the community and raise the standards of football we had access to. With your support, we are now a FA Charter Standard Club and our academy is full.
We understand it is difficult for every child to take part in FA affiliated leagues, whether it be down to timing or availability of league games, commitment levels of a parent or a child, or even affordability. So, a few months back, we launched the ‘Did #YouPlay Football?’ campaign for those very children; they could come along for a kick about, low cost, no commitment, just enjoy the game when they can.
It was enjoyed by many, but after feedback and suggestions, we’re now adding some more excitement by giving the children some competition to look forward to. Children look forward to competition so this should make it more enjoyable for them, but please note, they’re only young so please remind them its all about fun. It’s okay to lose sometimes, most important thing is they take part. The more they play, the better they will get.
Who Are We?
AHF FC is the home of junior football based at DW, Blackburn, Lancashire. We are a FA Charter Standard Club with the aim to raise the standard of grassroots football and widen the opportunities for the local community in Blackburn.
FA Charter Standard Club recognition allows all teams to be eligible for ongoing help and support from the FA and is a benchmark for quality. By achieving this status we are demonstrating to all members, parents and the public, that we are a well organised, motivated and a safe club.
Football Philosophy
At AHF FC, we hope to provide an opportunity for local community children to engage in football activities that allows for them to develop and grow to achieving their potential. As a club we understand and appreciate the importance of children being allowed to develop their skills to become positive footballers. Children will be encouraged from an early stage to play and enjoy having the ball, we will place a high importance on individual technical skills so our players can try and be competent game players. We appreciate by developing a learning environment children will need time and patience so they can develop in their own unique way.
Our coaches and volunteers will work to allow every child the time by creating an environment that places an importance on DEVELOPING and not WINNING. As they progress through our player development programme, we will help develop their game craft and football intelligence so they can make decisions to help them play in the larger formats of the game.
Although we place a high importance on developing their football skills, we feel it as important to develop them as people. Children will always be encouraged to be respectful, take ownership of their learning, develop leadership skills to help build them as positive citizens.
