THE DEVERAUX FAMILY → VINI. VIDI. VICI.

The Deveraux line hails from African Aristocracy, with ties to such titles as far back as the French Revolution. Their money is old and mostly inherited.  

Nikolaj is a well respected entrepreneur, his label can be found on most tech devices and military components. Only married twice, the male found the life of a bachelor more satisfying. His first marriage gave him his pride and joy, Rowan. Rowan was born to Nikolaj and his second wife Nadia, an actress from Sweden who preferred to spend her nights in the arms of different men. Deemed unfit to raise Rowan, Nikolaj cut off Nadia and sent her back to Sweden with demands to never contact their son again. The divorce was kept out of most magazines, but an interview with Rolling Stones gave all the details of  Nadia's devilish behavior and Nikolaj's broken heart. From there on, Nikolaj was America's favorite Frenchman and his chiseled features were fawned over by mother's and young women alike.  

As Rowan grew older, it was obvious his looks would favor his father's as well as his wants to follow in his footsteps, attending a boarding school until he became of age, Rowan grew into a polished man with impeccable behavior and tastes. Though he had the makings of a playboy, the young man never used his wealthy status for anything other than his work. He was quickly deemed as a business tycoon and continued to make Deveraux Enterprises a household name.  

In 2012, a secret rocked the Deveraux name as a woman came forward claiming to be the daughter of Nikolaj. The testimony was proved to be true and Charlotte  Deveraux was welcomed into the family with open arms. Soon stepping into the spotlight as an earnest and easygoing woman, it became obvious that she had no intentions of seeking any title to the Deveraux Enterprise and continued her education until she became a professor at a Baylor University. With her studies focused on epic poems and tragedies, she was a beloved faculty member and mentor alike.  

The Deveraux's are a mostly loved and envied trio, with no known extended relatives and not too many grievances filed against them, they coast through life with seemingly no problems. No one would ever guess about the monsters that lurked beneath their human personas.
