I guess this brings up Pen's social class. I honestly don't think he was from a poor family, but not rich either, much less aristocratic - rather, being born smack dab in the middle class, poor enough to still have struggled sometimes, but rich enough to have received an education rather than being sent to the mines. In his adult life, being an inventor, his situation has likely improved, though not enough to escape the middle class if that was even possible 😅

A result of something I pondered once. Fun fact, Pen's last name came about entirely because I needed one in my Sims game, lol. Not related to any other infamous Thatchers, mind you, it just sounded the nicest out of the options I found.

IGNORE THE CONTEXT, GUYS, OK? IGNORE THE CONTEXT- I know it would've made more sense the other way round broadly speaking. BUT. When I saw that squinty smile I just SAW Betty 😭😭😭 Easy is SOOO full of amazing animation moments, easily my favorite music video of season 2 (sharing the spot with Live to Live and Vox's cunty little moment in Brighter), and this one especially has me in a chokehold and is quite underappreciated compared to others, at least as far as redraws go 🥹

APRIL FOOLS YA'LL I'M POSTING THIS EARLY.

It might be an April Fools special because of how bizarre the situation is but make no mistake - it IS canon to the Pennylouverse lore!

The idea for this popped up way back when I first saw Pen's human form. Considering he has everything I love in a man, I just HAD to have Betty see it, even if only in a little "what if" scenario. Well, this silly scenario now marks their "proper" first time AND puts somewhat of a close to Pen's insecurity that he's physically not enough for Betty (or... too much, I suppose).
