V:runawaytothecarnival-Joshua looked up at crows nest. It wasn't often that he went into the big tent where most of the attractions preformed,after all,he wasn't one of the acts,more of a visit and gawk attraction,offering answers to questions and the like. Flying up he looked over the ropes,examining the thin tightrope that the other walked along so frequently. He wondered how anyone could do it.

Crow was resting in the net which he had dubbed the nest when from the corner of his eye he saw the newest attraction fly up. While he was slightly jealous of the wings, he was also wondering what the hell he was doing here. “Hey brat.”

His social life wasn’t the only thing that changed about Neku after those three, long weeks. Sometimes he wished it was, but most days... Most days he decided not to have an opinion on it. His new sixth sense was simultaneously the best and worst thing that had ever happened to him. The best, because it let him view the world around him in a gorgeous new way. Every voice- every footstep- that was made in the city, in his city... He didn’t just hear it. He felt it. And it was wonderful. Just standing outside in the middle of it all was an experience he couldn’t even explain in words. It was a musical, visual, almost spiritual experience, and it managed to lift his mood even after the worst of days.

And it was the worst because, no matter how much he wanted to, he could never forget the game because of it. Not just because it’s likely how he’d developed it, either. Because he truly did feel everything. Reapers, noise, Players... All of it. He could hear the anguished cries of kids, no younger than him, as their Partner was lost to erasure, leaving them all alone in that scary, traumatizing world, and he was powerless to help them.

He stopped in his tracks, ignoring the angry shouts of the city-goers that had been walking behind him on his way to Udagawa. It was happening again. He felt something. But- It was different. It was different from anything he’d felt after those three weeks, but yet, somehow, it was familiar, too. And that’s when it hit him.

His eyes hardened a bit, and he felt his hand twitch at his side, although whether it was in anticipation or annoyance, he wasn’t quite sure. After a few moments of silence (honestly, even the city’s natural music seemed to quiet down in his seconds of contemplation) he opened his mouth and released a single word without turning around to where he felt the energy emanating from.

“Josh?”

Sho was walking back from work as he wasn't really paying any attention to who was near him as then spotting the ash blond hair’d boy standing around or so it seemed.
