American School of Classical Studies investigating deviant burials at Faliro, Sakis Ioannidis

Classical archaeology has called on the help of CSI-style archaeologists from the Malcolm H. Wiener Laboratory for Archaeological Science at the ASCSA to examine groups of deviant graves.

Very good article on using bioarchaeology to understand the lives of non-élite citizens of Athens. Note that the term ‘deviant burials’ refers to burials outside the norm, such as skeletons wearing shackles, etc.
